The mission of the Dr. Walter S. Thomas Sr. Scholarship fund is to honor the legacy of Dr. Thomas through encouraging and investing in a graduating student from his alma mater, Baltimore Polytechnic High School, as well as other Baltimore area high school students, by providing annual college scholarships in order to assist in pursuing and succeeding in higher education.
